Nouvelle équipe en Utah

Ma femme m’a envoyé ça depuis son FB… une autre équipe qui déteste les Chevaliers et l’Avalanche !

Salt Lake City seems like a good fit for a team

  2. GarbageOpinionsMachi

Salt Lake City Punks, mascot: Heroin Bob

  3. InevitableRespond9

Salt lake shakers (as in a salt shaker)

  4. Mr_FortySeven

Would be a solid location for a team in all honesty. They would make a great rival for the Avs.

  5. HurricanePirate16

Talk about a poverty franchise. Won’t be selling very many $20 beers to help the balance sheet.

  6. Vandy1358v2_0

I could totally see the coyotes moving to SLC. Their mascot should be Joseph Smith. During intermission he can talk into a top hat

  7. MAJORMINORMINORv2

Its like a bad idea got food poisoning and shit this out in DALLE

  8. Upper-Raspberry4153

I wonder if it will still be called SLC in 10 years when the lake dries up and ceases to exist

  9. FireFrogs48

Has to be a relocated team right? 33 teams feels like a lot

  10. -Saetia

All for this if it’s the Coyotes moving there. 32 teams is enough.

  11. TheRitalinCommando

I personally think the market is too small to compete with the Jazz for the winter sports dollar but I can say one thing for certain. They’ll do better than Phoenix.

  12. The Utah Cutthroats – state fish is a trout.

  13. weschester

Hey it’s better than giving Atlanta a third chance at losing a franchise.

  14. fastal_12147

This is the first I’m hearing about it. Funny how no one in the hockey space has mentioned this…

  15. LewaLew12

If we get enough teams further west, will Chicago be allowed to join the Eastern Conference and restore our rivalry with Detroit before it dies completely?

  16. 360degreesofFUNK

Maybe they could be another suitor to the Coyotes, Utah Coyotes, who knows?

  17. dumbassyeye

Anyone else feel like 32 is maybe more then enough teams? How much do they want to dilute the the product?

  18. DarkKirby14

wonder if the PHX arena plans fell through again

  19. Canadian_mk11

    The Salt Lake FuckCanadaandQuebecCityinParticulars

  20. solabrown

My eyes! That is one horrific looking stadium.

  21. PrideRulesMMA

Quebec City have a newer NHL style arena, no NHL team

  22. mattcojo2

I got two names that would be very befitting due to salt lake’s railroad history

    The Utah Challengers

    Or the Utah Zephyrs

  23. Dmaniac17

Enough with the new teams, 32 is already too many

  24. WVC_Least_Glamorous

The NBA arena didn’t receive much in taxpayer funding.

So an NHL arena is going to receive even less.

Is the NHL going to allow a team in a small market without the public giving tax money to a billionaire?

  25. banevadegang

    Utah Morons

    Edit: I mean Mormons

  26. MosEisleyBills

Utah Saints. Utah Saints. Utah Saints.

  27. parkerwe

That may be the ugliest stadium render I’ve ever seen.

  28. PinHeadDrebin

Does this even make sense? Utah doesn’t seem like a place where people are really aware of hockey

  29. ExampleDog

So help me fucking god if Utah gets a team before another Canadian team I will convert to Mormonism.

  30. VanillaIce315

Once the league moves beyond 32 teams, my interest in NHL will probably be null. Can’t stand the idea of any further expansion. How much do they wanna water down the product…

  31. Totes_mc0tes

Unless it’s where the coyotes are going this is dumb. Last thing the league needs is more teams
