As a sidenote, I always struggled to root for hockey in Dallas since it doesnt even get cold enough to play ice hockey. Felt a bit fake (sorry Stars fans)

As someone who lived in Chicago for 4 years, but recently moved back to Dallas, I’m jealous! And while it doesn’t get cold enough in Dallas for ODRs, I started beer league this year and it helped me get through the 105f+ summer. I’ve got a fun weekend trip planned for Jan 13-14 to come see the Stars play the Hawks up in Chicago – debating which team’s jersey I should wear…
