I would love to see Calgary and New Jersey do a blockbuster deal. But with that being said, It’s an immediate no to McLeod, Calgary doesn’t need a third or fourth line centre.

upgrading the goaltending in the entire organization for his entire tenure.
Now, GM Fitzgerald will be forced to dish valuable assets to pick up a keeper.
Wheras he shouldve fixed the issue long ago. At the very least after the goalie position melted down during the playoffs.

Lindy, traditionally, is hard on his goalies. You let in a softie and you'll be in the dog-house for 2 weeks.

I see Nylander walking this offseason. Hard to see Toronto accpecting a rental package. Hard to see Tornto reallt pulling the trigger here considering Nylander has been maybe the best player on the team the past 2 years even on a limited role.
Clear cut #1 winger. Easy 1st, A prospect, and a young top 6. Prob more.
Crazy idea but I think jersey and flyers should do a big trade. I think flyers will fall out of playoff spot as year goes on. I think jersey will rise to playoff spot. Flyers are technically in rebuild. They have 4-5 goalies who have played nhl level hockey with errson and hart playing very well and capable starters. Make a big trade for hart and a D or two. Send back holtz maybe two other prospects and a pick 🤷♂️
Can we stop pretending goaltending is the only reason why the Devils aren't where people thought they'd be? Like the team hasn't had a load of injuries to key players. Especially Nico and Jack. Let's not even get into all the players that have had slow starts. The team defense has been an issue, hence why they were bag skating at the start of the season. I'm the only one who remembers that. I don't think most of the goalies mentioned are worth what it would cost to get them.
And let's say they do give up Mikey and whatever other picks to get this great goalie when he gets injured then what? Right back to where we started.
We dont care about rumors or who you think the Devils should get. We only care about WHEN IT HAPPENS. move on. Fun fact there are so many better goalies who are making less than goalies who are making 5m+. So stop saying gibson and markstorm(you ignoring the 2m bonus for the last two year too eh)
