Wasn’t he playing on a broken foot by this point? Idk those first two games going to OT and losing were so massively deflating to me and if the Devils get one good bounce in either game to head to LA tied 1-1 I do believe they would’ve taken the series (probably going the distance in a game 7).

God I loved the team compositions so much during this SCF. That was such an emotional roller coaster of a series getting there. Some days I just wanna sit down and watch the devs run start to finish just to see how good we had it.
The all-strengths xG% in the first 5 games of that series was 50.03 to 49.97. Absolutely insane how close that series was.
