that game tying goal was like a 2% play. Gav did have an incredibly soft play in the neutral zone which lead to the clean entry, but Grundy fuckin’ read the play, Roy was there back door, Talbs was there… and it squeaks in. Dubois post late, then the puck literally hopping over Trev’s stick in the dying seconds…
Lots of issues here, but this team is downright unlucky right now too. Incredibly frustrating.
Gavrikov might never dance again.
Style of play completely different in the third, driven by starting off with two stupid penalties- giving the Bolts all sorts of confidence when we had them under relative control in the first two frames. When are these guys going to understand MOMENTUM MATTERS!!! What a terrible position to be in: now we can’t even enjoy a lead without panicking.

I’m so fatigued right now, 6 straight L’s… I mean, In all honesty I can’t really blame tmac, But with a loosing streak like this, How many more L’s in this streak before they put Barry Trotz or some crazy shit behind the bench?

6 losses and if the broadcast is right were now 1-5 in our last 6 games we’ve scored the first 2 goals.
Team is cooked right now. Forget winning a cup, I hope they figure out how to not miss the post season.

Anyone laughing at this shit by now? Get a lead and it’s almost a guaranteed choke job. I think back to a quote Carts made several years ago when he was still a King. He said something like “We’re mentally fragile right now.” Applies to this roster as well.
Whats the point of getting these early leads if we are just going to throw them away.
Its mental now, they play on their heels in the 3rd period, Kings play so good until the end and blow it cause they keep choking.
Passes were sloppy but i think its all mind games now, they play scared.
This downfall started with the Islanders game, that miracle comeback ruined they mindset and throw off their game, it hasnt been the same since.
Such a shame because our goaltending has been amazing, Talbot did not deserve to lose this game.
Season ebbs and flows boys. The adversity is just building up the hate and discontent required for the next heater.
Do the Kings have any quality defenseman besides Doughty?
I just don’t get it we play so aggressive to get that 2 goal lead and then we just sit back and hope we hold onto it. Why don’t we stay aggressive and try to score another or to at least keep the pressure of our own half.
Just really in our own heads. Not paid the big bucks to figure out how to turn it around, but I’m sure some tough convos are going to happen soon.

Kings had two five game losing streaks in 2012 and we know how that ended. We’re definitely not in a great place but I’d rather this be happening now instead of march or April. Still plenty of season left.

took a walk to decompress. during these tough times we have to think about all the good things going on in our lives. be thankful to just be alive and have a sports team you love. we will bounce back and when we do the chip on our shoulder will be massive.
GAH! So frustrating!
The positives:
* We didn’t lose in a shootout
* I have always thought that Cam’s stats were padded by a good defense, but he is legit.
* We finally had a good stretch of a game where we looked like ourselves
Honorable mention: Kaliyev has been creating his own chances and showing some stick handling skills I didn’t know he had. He seems to do well when he is called out. TMAC called him out in a post game interview last season I think and he went on a scoring spree.
WTF?
I don’t understand why they don’t put QB out there in OT. Dude skates faster and stronger than most on the ice, and make better decisions that certain guys like Fiala.
Sucks we lost but what a game by Kempe. Hes a top 10 winger in the league at this point.
This feels so much worse than when the team was shit.

This is the kind of thing that happens when you have a coach who’s known for choking, no experienced hockey ops people in management, chalk full of people from when the organization didn’t win anything, and your top 2 management guys in Rob/Luc only won Cups riding along the coattails of others.
A poorly constructed, soft team that can’t hold leads or handle pressure.

Look at the bright side…Kings haven’t won a game in TB since like 1985, the fact that they got a point out of it should be considered a win.
Good lord what a pile of suck the last 7 min were. you’d think guys like stammer , kucherov or hedman would be you. Not 3 guys on the 4th line.
