The guy was -28 last season with Tampa Bay. The next closest guy was -10. Are you kidding me? We have a 38 year old guy Derek Ryan who we love and is a fantastic defensive player and can chip in important goals on occasion. The Oilers don't need this parasite.
Patience is a virtue, would like to see them call up Rodrigue,,when the schedule compresses and you can get him consistent work, play the hell out of Campbell, maybe he finds his game, someone always has goalie injuries, and lets face it he would be cheap to acquire, 7th round pick.
LEAVE THE OILERS ALONE. GOOD D, GOOD GOALTENDER.3RD LINE CENTER MAYBE.

Alas there not Toronto hey Frank isn’t that the only team you guys care about.
Oilers need defense and like 2 or 3 of them if they want to make it to the WCF or cup finals. Nurse, Ceci and Kulak are useless out there. What they dont need is some washed up trouble maker with on and off ice problems.
If we analyse with no emotion-
We need a 3 line c-
2nd line d- right side- Ceci is ok/ not great
2nd goalie- Pickard- is okay- reliable
Holloway could be 6 forward we need.
Thoughts
I feel like a Kane Holloway Perry line could be decent.
Perhaps try and bring Maroon back, and either and upgrade over Ceci or Pickard.

It’s tonight to send Hamblin down as he’s playing decent hockey. Also now that I type on the lines I’m not sure where Maroon would fit.
I really need to see Gagner back in the lineup. The offensive pizazz of the bottom 6 is frighteningly basic without atleast gagner on a line, and the 3rd line with brown and Kane doesn't have enough playmaking to have any consistency. Gagner 3rd line center with Kane+Ryan. 4th line of Janmark,Hamblin,Brown
Count out Zegras.

The Oilers should be working on landing another goalie. If a defensemen or a forward go down, they can cover those a lot better with players from the Condors than a goalie. If Skinner goes down who slots in? What's the worse of the evils?
