Chabot is overrated. He is not worth the money. I hope they can trade him.
I think the organization hurt Chabot's development by saddling a 19-25 year old defenseman to take the brunt of a complete rebuild with piss-poor defensive coaching/structure under various coaches, 8 million reasons aside.
For a good while, he was playing almost half a game every time they played and I don't care how good a player's conditioning is, it always comes back to haunt a player somehow. We're seeing that with the injuries now.
If someone has to go, I hope its Chabot (and I'm glad Dorion won't be around to f-this trade up)
