Le 2 décembre 1995, Patrick Roy et les Canadiens de Montréal affrontaient les Red Wings de Détroit dans un match qui restera dans l’HISTOIRE de la LNH ! 1. Detroit may have won this game but unwittingly it may have ultimately cost them a few Stanley cups

  2. Roy was a such good goalie im sad he left the canadians he should've stayed

  3. This win probably cost the Red Wings a Stanley Cup or two in the long run.

  4. Imagine that same scenario happened during the Bruins game last night and Monty walked out in front of Marty lmao. Also Marc Bergevin playing against the team later to be GM

  5. This guy gets a new head coaching job, and instead of showing highlights of him winning the Cup or the Conn Smythe, the NHL uploads him getting shelled by the Red Wings in one of the most embarrassing games of his career. What a beautiful troll job.

  6. How often in sports can we look back and pinpoint the moment an organization went into the toilet and stayed there for nearly 30 years?? I NEVER would have believed that the Montreal Canadiens could be this bad for this long with only one trip to the finals, that was fluky to say the least in 30 years. And it can all be traced back to this event, the firing of Serge Savard and the sale of the team.

  7. A night that changed the NHL for some. This was the night that the Curse of Patrick Roy was put upon every single Canadian NHL Team. No Canadian NHL Team as of January 2024 has won a Stanley Cup since the Montreal Canadiens traded Patrick Roy.

  8. Lidstrom's slap shots from the point feel like Patrick Kane's shootout attempts: you just expect every shot they take to go in.

  9. I remember this night like it was yesterday. For us Montrealers this was a true moment in history…and not a good one.
