    This is very nice to see.

    **However,** the reason I’m posting is that this has been known to be the Stamkos family’s charity of choice.

    I’m not one to speculate (check my post history) however the timing of this seems odd.

    ​

    At best, JBB & family are adding on to the Tampa Bay Lightning commitment to give back within the community.

    ​

    At worst, do we think JBB & family are making sure Stamkos’ charity of choice is being taken care of in case Stamkos _________________ (you fill in the blank)?

    Probably more buttering up than preparing for departure. A sort of indirect payment that doesn’t provide a cap hit.

    That, or he just likes the charity, too, and a lack of games is causing people to overthink things. Could be that simple.
