Zadorov is what canucks fans have been asking for years. Physicality. Yes julsen has proven himself this season as an excellent depth piece if the canucks need to bring someone up incase of injury.

If you’re going to add to your team, add to it. Don’t pay exorbitant prices for lateralish/slight upgrades. (Ex Kuzmenko and pieces for a Guentzel)
Look to add Monohan, Tanev, Lindholm. Guys that won’t cost you roster players to get better and fill a needed role.
Then in the offseason you look to trade a Kuzmenko, a Mikheyev, maybe a Garland to recoup assets back to work with
You have to remember that the playoffs are two months long. The Canucks need to get Soucy back, just to have the seven good defensemen that the need for a long payoff run.
Keep Big Z and trade Kuzmenko and/or Mikheyev for Lindholm, Monahan, or Giroux.
Or, here's my fan boy fantasy……..Kuzmenko, Mikheyev, Lekkerimaki, Willander, 2024 and 2025 1st round picks for Crosby and Guenzel………plan parade route.
Trade Andrei Kuzmenko Ilya Mikheyev and as many picks as they require for Bo Horvat. Trade for Chris Tanev with a 1st and a 2nd Pick), Move Zadorov or Myers Up to the wing (don't show that card till game 1) and rock 7 defense men for the playoffs. Management make them selves look like cap wizards in the process. That's going all in with style.

Doesn't make sense to give up a key dman for more offensive help, especially when our offense is already so stacked. It's a hard no on giving up Zadorov.

Their focus should be on removing the least affective players and adding more productive players for Tochetts system imo

I was disappointed to see Kuzmenko in the dog house, but watching him play, somthing is missing in his game. He has flashes of brilliance, but for the most part he looks lost out there. His stock his way down, so they aren't going to get much in return for him, except free up some salary cap for another player.
