Good, we don’t want rested happy excited visitor players in our city. God bless Winnipeg!

That’s because it’s hard to win here lol

Winnipeg: We were born here, what’s your excuse?

The Jets should embrace this and make it painful to play in Winnipeg, how hard is it to acquire one or two player who can throw big hits and drop the gloves every once in a while ? Guys like Pezzeta, Greer, Lomberg, Kolesar, Hathaway, O’Brien, etc ? Nobody pays a ticket to watch Axel Jonsson Fjlaby play lol

What makes us that much worse than Edmonton?

Probably not a big thing for everyone but it’s always bothered me how the opposing backup has to just sit on a chair in the tunnel. A professional hockey team does this while the Jets backup has a spot on the bench.

  8. How can they make such statements without a wifi connection?

Does that mean they’d hate to be signed by the jets too?

I’m objectively surprised by this. Sure Winnipeg doesn’t have a beach to hit for a few hours before the game, but it’s not like the players are stuck in the cold either. Bus picks them up at the Airport 15 minutes from their hotel. Then they never have to look at a snowflake unless they step outside. Few cities on that list offer a hotel that is connected to the arena and a number of top food options at the same time. Do hockey players go out a lot? Where do would they go if they could? I stayed in Seattle at the W while a MLB team was staying there and did not see one player in the hotel for three days outside of when they got on and off their bus. Same for CFL in Vancouver. I’m surprised Colorado was left off the list. 45+ min from airport to hotel and LODO is nothing special.

  11. OP thanks for rushing over and letting everyone in this sub know.

What hotel would they most likely stay at here?

Going to save this for those Jets fans that are always in denial about this

Shocking! It’s like we could have almost predicted this response given the statistical history of the answers over the history of the questionnaire.

I wonder why they even bother asking anymore? We get it. You don’t like coming to Winnipeg. Can we move on?

    We’re number 1!

I for one don’t give a flying puck about where these multi-millionaire athletes don’t like to play. We’re a Canadian hockey city that is usually cold, impoverished, and relatively isolated, and guess what? We pay thousands of dollars to watch these guys play a sport and collect an exorbitant salary. Get back out on the ice, you babies!

We are Winterpeg so bite me all you rich ass clown players complaining about Winnipeg, we have plenty to the offer you’re just too rich with a pole up your bum that you can’t see life as it is.

  17. SirBulbasaur13

That’s fair. I just don’t like reading people describe how terrible it is when they haven’t even been here.

  18. beastiedan

Has anyone ever seen a visiting player out having fun??
