So heres what has puzzled me about the set up of the powerplay since the beginning of this season: why did the penguins force Karlsson to be on the top powerplay? Correct me if I am wrong, but hasn't Letang been the point guy for the powerplay for a long time? I understand Letang was willing to take a step back role, but Karlsson hasnt done anything to deserve that spot, so why was management so determined to keep Karlsson in that spot, even when things werent/arent working?
Two corrections DK, they were the misfits, not the idiots hahah and Smith was acquired in a trade last summer and I believe in his final year of that deal.

i dont understand why Reirdan is still the PP coach. There is strong evidence of coaching changes improving a team's performance. Before they start putting rookies on the PP maybe try a differet coach
