    One of the things I've noticed since Martin has taken over is that the Sens are intercepting pucks in the neutral zone. Reminds me of the Stone era. Do stats back that up?

    Man. Toronto media. Fine, call the slap shot classless. But I wasn’t dangerous. nobody on CBC ever said “I hope he’s ok”. It was a shot to the head that left him lying on the ice. Was he embellishing? Maybe. But I bet a crosscheck to the side of the head can do some damage.

    None of them know what it’s like to have Toronto fans take over the building. Beating the leafs at home should mean something to these guys, and good for Ridley for caring and having some emotion. If Someone wants to square up and fight him over it…well, then he has a choice. Fight over someone else’s hurt feelings, or walk away (or turtle). The league has taken a pretty clear stance that players don’t have to fight even when they’ve done something dirty. Punching a guy who turtles gets you suspended. This HAS to be a bigger suspension or it replaces fighting.

    Love my Sens…but not too fond of "Canada's Team". It took ShanaPLAN Shanahan 10 long years to build this?! And his personal choice for GM made his mark by adding Reaves (what an embarrassment), Lagesson, Domi and the star attraction Klingberg. ShanaPLAN Shanahan will fire Keefe…the bad Team can't be any fault of his…right? No longer are bookies taking bets on whether the Leafs move beyond the 1st Round of the Playoffs, their taking bets on qualifying for the Post Season. Damn the Sens future looks bright…and didn't Pinto look like a stud. They were outshot and allowed 34 shots (structure?) but Kapisalo was decent.

    Look at Zadorov's hit on Raymond of the Wings today, he got 2 games. That was like 5 times less dangerous than Rielly's hit. But he's a Leafs, so he'll get 1 one game.
