I'd bet money that Grzelcyk learned that move from Marchand. If a team as talented as Boston played smarter and left the cheap shots out of their game, they might be unstoppable.

Pacioretty should get an academy award for his display of injury/discomfort. All NHL players wear protection for those vulnerable body parts, he couldn't have been too hurt, he returned to the game. Was it a dirty hit, you bet it was, but it was most likely retaliation, which goes on all the time, and it did not deserve a game misconduct.
Ejected is not the right word.
Bruins fan here: Bad penalty. Its very clear that he gets up from the hit, looks and sees its Max, sees the play coming back, he looks at Max, sees his opportunity, and his eyes never leave his target until Max goes down. Something he likely learned from his Captain 🤷♂️

Grzelcyk isn't exactly Goon material with just 16 penalty minutes on the entire season. He tried to get the stick between the legs of Pacioretty, and apparently missed. Possibly some good acting on P's part, too(?).
Anyone who knows Grzelcyk knows he's one of the cleanest players in NHL history

This was pretty strange. Grzelcyk is not even close to a dirty player. Very few penalties at all. His career is clean. This however, was a pitch fork right to the boys. Whatever he gets he deserves. He has no history, but you gotta give him 2-3 game. That was pretty nasty.
Max has been a whiny player who has a low tolerance for pain.

Yeah yeah bruins fans we get it, it was retaliation. But normally, hockey players take a number and try to hit them back, or better yet ask to fight to see if he will square up. But end of the day spearing someone will always be a greaseball move even if you received a borderline hit.
This thing and then Reilly with the cross check to the head vs the Sens. Two players that should’ve had to drop the gloves immediately to answer for the extremely dirty plays.
