This is very interesting for sure with the goaltending situation. It's not bad right now like it was in November early December where they should have been starting to explode like they are now. Their main issue was for sure goaltending with Raanta having a great season last year but a bad start and season now somehow. So that was for sure the main issue. Now it's right in the middle. It's not great yet but it's not as bad as it was then and with how Martin has been playing really edging it to good. Hopefully Freddie will be back by March 2-5th healthy since it will take seeing him get warmed up and him having to work very hard to get in his best shape for playoffs and next season. I'd say The Canes should move Raanta. It's sad especially how Raanta and Andersen won the William M. Jennings trophy back 2021-22 season but Raanta has had a very rough start and is still going through a mid season as of now. With Kochetkov doing great and Martin actually somehow doing great for having barely any time. The team just hopefully can reassess the defense and goaltending situation and then it will be back to how how was last year no doubt. Last year and the past 3 seasons have been great or perfect even. If they can further enhance all of it right now or by the next 3 weeks they will be even further on FIRE going into playoffs on a winstreak even! It just takes further improvement in certain spots. They are doing great lately and keeping it up is gonna be the deciding factor of where they end up in standings at the end of season and during playoffs.
