The reality is is in my opinion this team has 2 legit top 6 players. The others we can debate about but even that’s saying something if we have to debate about who’s a legit top 6 it’s not a positive look. I

I love this team. Have for 38 years not to be negative but I can’t see them winning a 7 game series with this line up. Like low qual said never brought in our top prospect to explore that. No draft capital to improve. The top 6 has a bunch of holes. I think it’s a look to the future and that could start as early as next year but I’m officially bummed out.

We have to play a pefect game to beat them. I honeztly dont see a win until we play islanders. Even that game may go to OT w their D and their goalie. Cant win faceoffs for the life of us/ PP is not good/ PK is getting worse/ 3rd period collapses happeni g evety game/ OT is bazically an automatic loss😢 what happened to this team/ 40 min men / rarely do we play a full game as hard as we can w urgency / grit or drive. I may be done watching this team until after the trade deadline. Im so upset and pissed w this team. 😢😮

If there is 1 opposing player in our goalie’s crease for a screen how in the hell does “Coyle” (who’s standing next to him) not trying to to keep pushing him out of the way. That’s what made it 2-2. Unbelievable!!!
Montgomery shortens his bench so much in third periods that by the end of the game the top 6 are burnt. They have nothing left in the tank. Fresh legs are sitting on the bench. It's truly all on Montgomery and his game management. I hadn't paid attention in the past but I really noticed earlier this year when Poitras kept disappearing in third periods.
Have you ever known a team (and a good team at that) let in so many late goals in periods / games

It was also a thing last season and that was a miracle season, so it’s not new and I can’t see it going away anytime soon

I’m trying to be positive but I have a feeling this is a preview of the first round of the playoffs. One goal leads when the opponent pulls their goaltender, take it to the bank. They fold like a cheap lawn chair. Nobody clears the front of the net, when it gets physical they panic. I’m sick of this shit. Thanks Low Quality but it is what it is.
When our opponents play a regular game we can beat any of them. But when they go up a level to a “play off style” we fold like a paper house. We don’t have the toughness and the grit. Pasta and Marchand are getting slapped around out there and we have no response. We didn’t win a battle in the second half of the game bc we couldn’t match their intensity. What does Zacha, JVR and geeky bring to the table? No toughness, no points no grit. I would take our top 3 in providence over those guys that nobody wanted in a heart beat.
I saw it in the 3rd period, when the B's were struggling to keep up with the Canucks like a 6 yr. old in the middle of 2 adults playing keep away, it was hard to watch.
