I think dubas I'd in another Shanahan situation, where keeping the core four for so long was clearly from above him. But in this situation he's like "we should rebuild". Crosby just walks in and says "no, I'm in my prime"

As a Pens fan I want them to go for it, but there's absolutely no point if we keep Todd Reirden around. It makes no sense, he's in charge of the worst power play ever seen and it has 4 future hall of famers on it, it's somehow even worst than last year.

Dubas is the worst gm in the NHL. Noone had as many assets to only do nothing of worth and overpay everyone without coming close to winning
Sidney Crosby deserves the Hart. Nobody else
Leafs have done well developing thier own players and draft picks. The deadline is all hype, you can’t trade your way to a cup or a conference final. If Treliving did nothing I’d be fine. We’ll get Woll back soon, and ain’t no team ever gonna give up a top D man anyhow, so go with what you got
Dubas needs to trade some of the dead wood. Unfortunately, Hextall tied his hands with bad contracts, which won't age any better. The Pens are gonna struggle to offload Rust, Smith or Rakell. They should trade O'Connor, Guentzel (and try to re-sign him in the summer), Eller and Smith and try to get as many first rounders as possible for this draft – possibly 2 including their own.
Alex Nedeljkovic can probably be traded for a high price. The Oilers are desperate for a good goalie, and Ned's played much better than Skinner. Maybe throw in Petterson and take Campbell, for the right number of draft picks and maybe a prospect.
Trade Jake then trade Jarry for a kings ransom to Edmonton and called up Blomqvist for next year to be back up then ask Malkin what team he is willing to waive his no movement clause for..now you have a solid retool with a younger roster for next year
Garbage take by Adam saying Crosby should be a Hart nom. Crosby’s longevity is incredible but he’s having a point per game season. You are gunna put that above atleast 2 of Matthews likely scoring 70, McDavid looking like his last year self, Mackinnon looking destined to win, and Kuch dragging his team into playoff contention?
His impressions of how good Crosby has been way overstated. You’d swear he’s on pace for 125 points with how he talks about him.
Next year dubas will be giving up the penguins 1st overall draft pick it’s gonna get ugly in pittsburg

Same with MacKinnon and the Avs.
Remove Matthews from Toronto they still make the playoffs.
Remove Crosby from the Pens and they're competing for 1st overall in the draft.
The Hart trophy is useless. Its a follow up award of the Art Ross.
