I thought Zach Hyman played for the Oilers?

  2. Grrrrrrrt420

Imagine actually believing Patrick Kane is washed

  3. emasslax22

Lol, not even best of the year (Zach Hyman)

  4. Seeing the redwings have some success makes me happy as a hockey fan.

  5. skradmore

Not many players in the league play with the swagger showtime does

  6. KingPizzaPop

Pretty awful play by the back checker who could have easily gotten a stick on it if he hadn’t abandoned his assignment.

  7. Pratius

I didn’t realize Kane’s name was Artemi Panarin

  8. Shoddy_Reserve788

Didn’t want him back in New York, I was wrong I’ll own that

  9. Zestyclose-Middle717

    Detroit. So hot right now.

  10. CarousersCorner

Ehhhh, Zach Hyman has something to say about that

  11. Top_Ice_7779

Still can’t believe he plays for Red wings. After how big that rivalry was

  12. tacobell999

Followed by the worst ad/product placement decision ever

  13. Ravage1496

Great signing but Hyman’s got 40 at 5.5mil

  14. ZeroCoolskynet

As a life long hawks fan it hurts to see him play for Detroit but I’m glad he’s doing good and gets to play with the cat again

  15. yosoyboi2

Kane has been amazing and it’s a great signing by Yzerman, but Hyman is by far the best free agent singing of the 2020s. I’d be happy for someone to show me a better signing and why

  16. Ecstatic-Arachnid-91

I will admit I was one of the doubters as to him going back in prime form. The track record for returning from that surgery wasn’t all that good but this is the one time i can say I’m totally glad i was wrong. I love the energy him, Cat, and Larkin are bringing to the Wings.

  17. Batmobeale

Logan O’Connor has entered the chat.

What Kane’s doing right now is amazing and incredibly impressive at his age and coming back from injury. But I don’t think calling him the “best free agent signing of the decade” is fair when there are people like Zach Hyman and what he’s doing this year in Edmonton for example. (I’m sure there are many others from previous years)

  19. LarryTheLobster710

No affiliation to my favorite team but anyone who can recover from that kind of surgery and still preform has my respect

  20. Fabulous-Search-4165

Once in awhile but otherwise not much left in him

  21. NinJ4ng

PETRY MIGHTVE STUCK HIS WHAT IN THERE

  22. Tougie24

    Panarin, Pavelski, Hyman……

I won’t trash someone, especially a Wings fan, for taking a victory lap right now. Some people absolutely labeled this a bad signing from day one. Others were a bit more nuanced, knowing there was a good chance he could be done after major surgery.

But he has been absolutely fantastic……for 29 games on a wild card team (at the moment).

  23. surmatt

…so far. Phil the Thrill incoming.

  24. Bobbyoot47

It’s going to be really interesting at the end of the season when his contract is up. As good as he is he’s 35 years old. You know that some GM will roll the dice out there. Length of contract will be just as difficult as the cap hit.

  25. Mikey118

This is what the Rangers were looking for last year. It’s strange how some players thrive in some systems but are flat in others.

  26. ChilleeMonkee

This game was such a massive screw job by the refs. Missed calls everywhere and they won’t hear a damn thing from the league about it

  27. hoochtag

Love the enthusiasm but we’re not even half way through the decade. Pump the breaks.
