Nobody knows what Don is doing. He was telling the world that they wanted depth pieces and were happy with the team while he was negotiating an EP40 trade. He’s quiet about his pursuits and you just have to see what happens. Guentzel and Smith are big swings and hopefully he gets those done. A trade for those 2 makes the canes the favorites in the east.
A big swing for them is trading Kotkaniemi for literally anything including a piece of paper a water bottle or a bag of tape
