Trade him. He's 34 & by far the best G available. You wait & who knows what happens.
Devils want him more than anyone. They even said they are willing to take the deal with no salary retention which is what held up the deal a couple weeks ago.
Go back and do the trade with the Devils. He already accepted he would play there and the team really wants him. Devils and Flames have had win win trades in the past. So why not do it again.
Most likely an offseason move… could move up the draft or grab a top 20 pick by just flipping him

Markstrom is so scared of the oilers, it's not even funny. he's a major liability for any team that hopes to win a cup if they have to go thru McDavid and co.

If you didnt have a deal you liked as Button says, why go to Markström? I think the owner stepped in and said no because he thinks they can make the playoffs. I say that wont happen. Make the damn deal, if you like it
