  1. Great first impression Steve you keep telling yourself that. You should be fired. Please don’t trade anyone us until someone tells you how a trade works.

  2. Idc what he thinks, that return for senko is insulting and I would have been happier w future consideration

  3. "We have good goal-tending." Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  4. Anyone complaining about the return doesn't understand how a NMC works. Obviously a bad return, but Vlad likely had only 1-2 teams he'd approve.

  5. This was a thank-you trade for Tarasenko. Plain and simple. Staios is an ex-player and a smart guy. He understands the business way better than any of us wannabe GMs. He sent him home to be with his family. Tarasenko's been a warrior for us all season and one of the few bright spots on the team in a terrible year. While I'm not happy at all with the return, I can understand it. I also don't think there was any chance a massive win trade was ever going to happen, no matter how much we wanted it to. As for the goaltending, I don't think he really believes that. He doesn't share much with the media (which I truly appreciate), and I can't see him being the type of guy to throw his players under the bus to save face. He's in charge, and he's taking responsibility. I have no doubt that behind closed doors he might have a very different opinion on a few things. Time will tell, but I actually see this as refreshing. That being said, I'm extremely pissed at the Sens as a whole this year for giving me hope, and then failing to do much of anything.

  6. Im willing to give Staios a chance something tells me he has a sneaky plan in place

  7. I wish him well in Florida. Vladdy really surprised me, what a complete player he is. I expected kind of a one way, selfish type of a perimeter guy – and couldn't have been more wrong.

Good luck Vladdy, you'll be missed.

  8. I like tarasenko but this trade is fine. He’s not a part of the future, just move him along and keep moving down the standings hopefully

  9. This trade was to express gratitude to Vlad. He was a great element in the team. I am glad that he can go home and stay with his family.

  10. Every NHL goalie is good when the players are strong in front of them, they are at the highest level, the skill of goalies in the league comes down to saving games and keeping teams in it, which this tandem is atrocious at.
