    Pack your shit Fitzy! Terrible trade. Look at what the GM of calgary did with his expiring contracts the last 2 years, he got big returns on assets. calling it now, he's going to wait until the offseason, we are going to miss on Saros, Markstrom and end up with some nobody backup as a 'starter'. Horrible.

    With salary retention there's no reason you shouldn't get a 1st. Owners greed. So we traded Sharo a 30 goal a year scorer for a 2nd round pick lol? But let's trade Holtz and Casey for a 35 year old goalie. Mickey Mouse Francise.

    I dont know any GM in the history who got fleeced in two separate trade in less than year involving the same player))) Make it even three times as Toffoli if traded one month ago would have gotten 1st pick as did Monahan🤣🤭

    Fitzgerald uses these two draft picks to bring in Markstrom or Saros or Ullmark. LGD !

    Fitz absolutely sucks. He should've kept Toffoli if this was the deal. Instead he trades him to WPG for a 2nd next year and a 3rd, and retains half the salary! I think every GM in the league is starting to realize that Fitz is a clown and that they can take advantage of him. Now we know how Edmonton felt when Peter Chiarelli was their GM.

    His next move will be shipping out multiple picks including our first rounder and Holtz for a 35-year-old Markstrom who will probably fizzle out in 1-2 years.

    Based on how badly we got fleeced for Toffoli I have zero faith that Fitz does anything else productive today. Hope I'm wrong but I don't see anything else good coming until summer at this point. Complete amateur hour.

    So we traded sharengovich for 2 2nd rounders and a 3rd rounders. On paper some people (analytical type😂) would say that's a good deal. Problem is getting 2 good 2nd rounders and that's tough to do for a perennial 30 goal scorer. Plus, why aquire him in the first place. We are spiraling out of control. If you tried screwing things up you couldn't do a better job!

    It’s going to sound fucking stupid, but I may or may not be on the verge of tears (don’t judge me I’m a very emotional person). Trading him, while I loved him, I understand. But not even for a prospect? A 2ND. AND 3RD. FOR OUR LEADING SCORER. I already hate Winnipeg, never knew I could hate them more. I wish Toffoli, and hope he does come back.

    really not impressed with the toffoli trade. no first rounder for the most in demand forward of the trade deadline? we were told every team was trying for toffoli, and none of them were willing to put up a first? another fitz fail for the season imo.

    So Fitz is giving away a veteran producing forward AND we retain 50% of his salary, for a bunch of draft picks??? He has just a couple hours to do something with these picks, and with all he did ao far to solve goaltending (nothing) I have no faith.

    This season has just been a never ending kick to the stones. I’d suggest that we’ll soon see Holtz dumped for peanuts, however, TF killed any value the kid may have had by dumping all over him during the Lindy presser. This franchise is an absolute shit show right now.

    Okay, it's time for fitzy to follow ruff. A second and a third round pick and retaining 50% of his salary is a freaking joke. He needs to be gone. This is ridiculous unless he can pull an amazing trade for Saros or Ullmark. Can his @$$!! Our strongest trade piece was sent for peanuts and we still don't have a goalie. This guy is delusional and he's so hung up on analytics. I want to kick him in the face with my skates. He went from fleece Gerald to fits got fleece. Gerald

    Fitzgerald is the gift that keeps on giving. I could live with the deal if the 2nd for Toffoli was at least for 24, but it’s not and he most likely just traded a 2nd for Jake Allen! 40 game trigger is very possible. I just don’t know what to think anymore and to also wait until March 8th to address the goaltending in any way….. no words.
