Kooch is getting there.
but he’s not someone i’d want to bet on in the playoffs. he can be a bit rash sometimes. Lets in an easy one or one through his legs.
Don’t get me wrong, he’s better than Ned who was the kind of the flashy save and lets in an easy one.

I don’t disagree with the larger sentiment that Kochektov is a legit nhl goalie but using Shesterkin’s stats from this year is kinda cherrypicking and making a false equivalency. Shesterkin is having a bad year by his standards, seeing as if he maintains the current pace, it’ll be the first time in his career he didn’t clear .915.

I’m so so so happy with how he’s stepped up for us this year. He’s not always consistent yet due to mentality / still being green, but he’s very confidently our future in net and I love the boy. He’s no Shesterkin, but he could be someday.
