**Disclaimer 1:** These models are *not* supposed to replace the « eye-test » but to provide supplementary information. No one is arguing that they are the « be all and end all » of hockey analysis (whether quantitative or qualitative).

**Disclaimer 2:** Cards can change within 12 hours as additional actions are credited to a player. What is posted should not be seen as « definitive » even within the constructs of the model.

**Disclaimer 3:** Where these really become useful is to see trends with a player’s performance. To do that, go to https://www.hockeystatcards.com/ and search for a player. You can then see breakdowns of their season-wide score along with trends over time and individual game logs.

Ed got to see Petry hockey first hand.

Was Petry trying to sabotage Edvinsson? He skated up to the wing position way too many times this game.

Edvinsson did pretty well for playing with a pylon of a partner

    Top right MO MO BITCHES

I gotta wonder how horrible Holl looks in practice that we still play Petry over him, might aswell run 13 F and 5D

Redwings legend Patrick Kane did it again!

I haven’t been impressed by Jeff Petry this season but a lot of us take these charts as an excuse to act like he’s remarkably bad. As much as I wish we’d had an Edvinsson in his spot all year, the fact of the matter is that he’s serviceable most nights.

And despite what the graph shows, Edvinsson didn’t have a bad game at all.
