    While Green is doing almost as much line tinkering as Lindy, I really feel like his lines look and feel a whole lot better. We’re seeing a stronger 3rd line – I think Palat is a great third line winger – and I like how he occasionally overloads the first line by putting Nico, Jack, and Bratt together.

    I’m excited to see Holtz on the 2nd line and hope that helps his production, but I don’t feel that I’ve seen 2nd line play out of him lately. Will be interesting to see how he reacts to the promotion.

    Really happy about holtz on the second line.

    Also happy he wasn’t flipped at the deadline in a panic move.

    Notice how we started moving Holtz in the top 6 again and we’re miraculously back to winning

    Hatakka getting a tough break here. We instantly looked better on defence when he came in to the lineup earlier on in the season, and we instantly looked better when he came in to the lineup recently. Yet it’s looking like he sits. Baffling.

    Having Brendon Smith as one of your 6 defensemen is starting the game down 1-0. He makes several boneheaded plays every game that almost always lead to a goal against at some point. I understand wanting some veteran presence and someone who will throw hands and protect the kids, but we already have those elements without Smith. Put him on the 4th line or let him be a good locker room guy who subs in as the 7th dman if we’re desperate. Insane that he plays every game he’s healthy while we scratch other kids who are trying to prove themselves and we should be seeing what they have before next year

    Damn Hatakka getting sit is annoying, that man has consistently delivered and Brendan Smith keeps taking his spot
