    I want to be optimistic, but we’re just aren’t good defensively. We’re 25th in the league in goals against per game. We were 22nd last season.

    On the positive side, we’ve already scored more goals than all of last season and we still have 10 games left.

    But, Yzerman and Lalonde have a lot of work to do to improve team defense, which hasn’t made any progress since last season.
