With how the team finished the season last year, I had them in the playoffs this year.

Turned the game on it was 2-0. Watched for a bit, went to grab me a plate of food and chatted with my wife for a few in the kitchen, came back to 4-0 and I let out a verbal « Dayum… » as my daughter walked by who shot me a glare (I don’t cuss often in front of her). It’s tough for sure… hate to see it.
They gotta pay people to show up to games at this point.

As a lifelong Mariners fan i feel the playoff drought plight. After a while it really sucks the life out of your passion for the game. Seeing the Ms make the playoffs in the way they did really re ignited my love for baseball and saw me going to significantly more games over the last season. I’ll never not love the Mariners but my god they were really good at being loveable losers and it just made it hard to watch at times. Hopefully they break the drought next year
