If Langway doesn’t get this spot I may have to quit voting on the rest.

  3. kevingh92

Richard Zednik, obviously! (But no, it’s Rod Langway)

  4. CREAMYSENSATION

It’s gotta be Langway. But I’d like to remember Ribero’s season with the caps. His OT winner against the Rags in 13 is up there. Too bad he had some off ice issues.

Man Adam Oates really got screwed here

  6. I was going to say Mike Ridley- but Rod Langway is the correct and only answer.

  7. Mental_Being_5910

    Rod Rangway

Dishonorable mention: Mike Ribero (f that guy)

  8. rene_magritte

It has to be Langway. But honorable mention to Joe Reekie.

Capitals goal scored by number 5 Rod Langway, assist to number 21 Steve Leach, assist to number 10 Kelly Miller. Time of the goal :34 seconds.

Rod Langway is the only choice. Just look up into the rafters and you will see his retired number.
Secondary vote for Reggie Savage, just because I love the name.

  11. OhkayBoomer

This list is bullshit without Adam Oates on it

  12. FerretWinter7063

Who could forget the immortal Rolf Edberg? Or the great Mike Ridley…but I guess it should be the Rod!!

  13. 410LaxMD

Stupid we’re voting R for Rid instead of L for Langway, but Rod is the answer since L has come and gone. Essentially forced a snub for Mike Ridley which is kinda lame.

  14. bmich88

Rico Fata, Joe Reekie, Bill Ranford, Mike Riberio, Rick Tabaracci… Am I forgetting anybody? JK, if it’s not the Secretary of Defense I’m leaving this sub.

Rod Langway. I remember when I was a teenager, going to games with my father, and Langway was one of a very few players out there without a helmet. I didn’t know crap about the game at the time, and I can’t tell you about how good a player he was (or was not) but he left an impression like very few others.

    Rod Langway

    Honorable Mention: Mike Ridley

Honorable Honorable Mention: Roger Crozier. Played, coached and GM’d for the Caps. Under his watch Scott Stevens was drafted.

  18. Artistic_Sir9775

Ryan Walter and Rick Green, who were traded for Langway and others.
