Soto would be an absolute fool to resign before the off season. He’s going to sign the biggest contract in sports history this winter with the Yankees or with someone else. I would rather have teams fight for me than resign and take less money.

As a yankee fan few things are more gratifying than sweeping the Astros who still have Bregman and Altuve from their cheating team. That was unforgivable for the simple reason that they never owned it and apologized. MLB completely mishandled that. It's a classic case of mishandling a situation to protect the institution/business. Nice to see this vibe from the Yankees. They came back and won these games and that's a kind of character that's been missing last few years. Hope it's back.
