I’m loving all the jokes about being surprised they even saw it in the first place, given just the epic shitshow that officiating has been these last few years. Maybe if the NHL invested in officiating the way they’ve invested in sports gambling, we’d have a better quality of games. Unfortunately, gambling has already ruined so many aspects of hockey in such a short time. Officiating is just the latest casualty.
