Clean up the defense for fucks sake. We all know this team can hang but you can’t play like this in the playoffs and expect to win a cup

Good to see they woke up for the third. Still an inexcusable game. Not panicking yet but definitely am a tad concerned.

ouch, wish they showed up to play. If the cats that played in the 3rd are the ones we get in playoffs I have no complaints, but it’s not a good look to be limping into the post-season like this
Another dogshit effort, another dogshit loss. We have 2 – ***2*** – wins in regulation and barely-scraped-by wild-card-chaser Shoot Out win in our last 10.
This isn’t just a slump. This is a concerning trend, be it coaching, be it the locker room, be it something else.
No other playoff bound team – in the last 10 games (leading up to the playoffs, when it fucking counts) – has been this poor
At the end of the day the panthers win that game if they play 60 minutes of hockey. As it is it’s a one goal game with Samsonov absolutely robbing us on more than a few goals and Bobby having a mediocre game while being absolutely hung out to dry.
Final 20 minutes proved the team still has it when they can pull their heads out of their asses. On to the next.

Horrible first 2 periods but some of the best hockey we’ve played in ages in the third. I’m thinking this one could be the turning point like last years game against the leafs
If this team could actually play for all three periods instead of only playing one we’d be golden 🙏
At least we scored 4 with the lines most of us prefer. We’ll see what happens. We honestly should easily win 5 out of the last 7 games.

They must be conserving energy for the playoffs. That last 20 we were infinitely more physical and aggressive than the first 40. But idk if that’s because we were playing from behind or if we can really turn it on like that. Either way, we should start playing a full 60
What can I say that hasn’t already been said…poor dog shit effort and it shows because we were still playing the same lines during the third. Shows is not a chemistry issue but an effort issue.

Goalie issue. Sammy did far better than bobby and thats why we lost.
4 goals on 13 shots in unacceptable. Toronto is a good team, and that cannot happen. Storlaz came in, and we took a 4 goal deficit to a 1 goal deficit (prior to the eng ofc)

My two cents. We are experimenting during the remaining games testing lines and stress-testing the team. We played more focused in the 3rd plus we had a great chance to tie the game. I believe in this team and coaching staff. I’m confident will turn on the gears once the playoffs start. Playing playoff hockey right now may cause us more harm than benefit. I want our team healthy and hungry once the playoffs start. Go Cats!
Kuli needs to ride pine for a few games after that performance. stoli earned another start.
Tighten up on defense and focus on playing 60. Lomberg energy was def felt tonight but Mahura might be needed for Kuli.
it was a really rough start but watching us put up points to claw back gives me hope for the post season
I don’t know why people are questioning the team’s effort. The effort level is fine and definitely not an issue. We outplayed Toronto. The 10 game gauntlet starting with Dallas against all good teams is over now. We have a bunch of easier games coming up where we can build for the playoffs
