    When this team makes the playoffs, Torts has to be the Jack Adams coach of the year. Yes he is hard on his players but he does care deeply about them all. Everyone bashing Torts for throwing the team under the bus, but that locker room knows they can always be better. This team hasn't played meaningful games in a long time so these games are important for Torts to push his team and see what they can do. Cheers from Edmonton 🇨🇦

    Flyers gotta be scoreboard watching more than ever know after getting only 1 point from the challenging schedule of (checks notes) Montreal, Chicago and the Islanders? (Which might make sense if it was 1983.)
    So riddle me this… tomorrow in the Caps-Pens game, who do you cheer for?

    I like Torts, but the problem is some of these players are under achieving i.e., Farabee, Cates etc………..

    How you can you not love John Tortorella? He's is brutally up front, direct, and honest. Gotta love his passion. This is what this organization has been missing for years. Torts! Torts! Torts!

    That sure tells you alot when fans of other teams are saying how much they admire and respect Flyers coach Torts etc he took what I was sure a write off season with a bunch of 4th liners into a possible playoffs possibility. While I know their in a rebuild and I've heard it before,but i sure have alot of faith in our coach and his teachings! And thanks to those other teams fans for the comments ,much respect ! Go Flyers…

    Truth be told this team does not have a play off roster. They got here because of Torts. But half of them are not fighting. You have to go to war to win a cup.

    The Las Vegas Golden Knights have been struggling as of late. Injuries more than any other team, getting beat up bad because every other team wants to beat them because they are the Stanley Cup defending Champs. They have regrouped knowing that they are better. They came out last night and beat one of the top teams , Vancouver. They played three periods of Playoff Hockey. They know that if you want to be in the playoffs at this time of the year, you HAVE to play 60 minutes of playoff hockey. That is their secret. Philly has to play playoff hockey now!

    Torts definitely cares about his players and the team. The bigger question is whether every guy on the team will step up, play their absolute best hockey and contribute to getting the team into the playoffs. If they make the playoffs, anything can happen.

    This was Torts best presser this season. He's hard on the guys but he's fair and just wants them to be better.

    He’s very candid with his aspirations for the team at this stage to challenge themselves to make the playoffs. I believe if the team wants it bad enough, it’s possible

    i think more than any other city, philly is THE city for torts. he’s tough, we’re tough. i absolutely love this coach and what he’s done for this team.

    Still in a playoff position.
    This team has to deliver for themselves and the fans.
    If anyone were to say they saw the Flyers in playoff position by 1 point with 6 games remaining, I would of said you were crazy.
    But here they are.
    Just get into the dance, that's all we ask.
