anyone want to talk about the terrible penalty taken by kane in the second that the flames scored on which completely ruined our momentum and we got stomped for the rest of the period?

Glad it was a win..but honestly getting though this game without major injuries or something is a plus. The BOA usually has some bite and calgary has much less at stake. They clinched and now its time to polish some skills but none of these games going forward are ones worth the team killing themselves over. Playoffs is right around the corner. They should bring up halloway, play the new guys. Prep for the tournament coming.

You could see Perry settling in now and becoming the true leader that he is. Oilers are so lucky to have Perry. At the same time Oilers are highly lucky to have Kane. The spat between Kane and Perry was nothing personal, it was Perry telling Kane to get his fu**ing head back in the game and pay attention to what's going on around him. Hunt for the next goal not the next penalty.

I think Knobs needs to be a little more assertive and intense on the bench with the boys at certain times, Perry is probably the best thing they upgraded this year he will bring us lord Stanley home!!!
Draisaitl and Kane need to keep away from the retaliatory slashing penalties. It hurts the team in its efforts to catch Vancouver!
