There are few players in this league that command the respect that Perry does from his team mates. He has contributed to many deep playoff runs and he always plays even better in important moments. Edmonton is lucky to have him and every player should follow his lead.

Think of how boring a sports movie would be if players didn't have some conflict with each other. Perry has a ton of experience and still a lot of game left. His words have weight, and I'm sure the entire dressing room wants to hear what he needs to say, even if it might cause (boohoo) some discomfort.
