Actually, my criticism of Jack is the fact that this team has to suffer tremendously without him in the lineup. Dude can’t complete a season. He has played just over 300 games in 5 seasons. He’s missed over 100+ games, that’s 75% attendance. This is the real issue
I honestly don’t understand why people were so pressed and being so hateful towards him. You could tell that something wasn’t right still and I had my suspicions as well that he was playing injured. Praying a for a speedy recovery for him.

My nephew told me this morning Jack was out for the rest of the season. I was hoping he was going to get surgery for his shoulder when I read his text. Now it’s true. This is good news for Jack and the Devils.
It needs to be done and hopefully this ends the bs.

I remember when I was in high school, a friend of mine, Ricky, played on the ice hockey team. He broke his arm. Was out for 4 weeks. The cast had JUST come off on a Monday. Friday, I saw him suiting up to play. I said "Ricky, you JUST got the cast taken off. I think you should give it more time to heal." Rickys' response was "I'm an athlete. Gotta play!" Well, that game, Ricky took a hard hit into the boards, and skated off the ice immediately. He passed me on the way out. I could see the bone poking through his jersey.
But yeah I agreed with you. He was definitely playing through an injury. I think he came back too quickly, just like Ricky did. He just was not being as productive as he was. He was missing clearly easy shots, that he would normally make. Hopefully Jack gets the medical attention he needs, and makes a speedy recovery. Hopefully, in the off season, the team gets the coaching they need, and hopefully in the 24-25 season, we play better than we did in the 22-23 season.
Too bad this wasn’t earlier. Good on Jack for playing as well as he was with a busted shoulder. Bad look for management.

This guy has been playing hurt for a while now. Wtf did they let him play hurt for so long?
I am sure Jack had everything to do with wanting to get out on the ice and help his team make the playoffs. Hopefully it is a minor procedure where he can rehab it and hopefully hit the gym and add 10 lbs of muscle. He needs it for his durability.
