Patches is so fucking useless. Garbage on the ice and a pussy in a fight.
This is gonna sound wild, but I think we need to work on our fundamentals. Like puck handling and passing.
Also feel like the hustle just isn’t there for some of these passes or for staying in the zone, that are within reach but you see them pull up because they don’t think they’re going to get there in time.
Last thing, I feel they hold for so long on the block a shot pose. It seems like other teams don’t stay in block position as long as the Caps do and other teams are able to navigate around our non-moving players who are either frozen in block formation or sprawled on the ice.
Actually, one more. it’s got to be awkward for Spencer being so young telling Ovi Oshi & Willy “hey, you gotta work on your passing”
