Shaggs, I love that MST3K shirt.
For me it's Sakic, Mackinnon, Roy, foresberg. If Mackinnon wins another cup, them it's a toss-up. How blessed we are as Avs fans that we get Sakic AND MacKinnon AND Roy AND foresberg AND Makar and on and on…
I cannot didagree more about Mack v Makar. If today was the cutoff it has to be Mack. He is the center of the team, he was here through the thin, the team was built around him, the team was built to play like him, he is the engine. In the end makar may prove to be the better overall player…but mackinnon continues to het better each year. He is already on the mountain, and bumps milan off for me. Makar can fight pete for the fourth spot.
Rule change…overtime doesnt end till someone wins. 5 minutes of 5 on 5, then 5 minutes of 4 on 4, 5 at 3 on 3, then it goes to 2v2 with no goalie…better not take a late penalty lol
Get rid of the shoot out. If you are still tied after OT the game is decided by goalie fight. First goalie to have a knee hit the ice loses.

Why are guys getting me to think? Lol… Rule change segment: Entry Draft- when a team wins the draft lottery- then 2nd (and only) round is reversed. So the Stanley Cup champs get pick back to back, 32 and 33rd, and the team that wins lottery, that usually tanks would receive 1st overall and 64 pick. More teams are less trying to tanking, and more teams will be trying to stack in order to win the 33rd pick if they didn't trade it away their 2nd rounder.
Mack is for sure on the mtn. No chance in hell he’s not front and center. If not now? In 2-3 years he’s etched in marble. Makar? He decides to leave hockey and go fishing forever? He’s the honorable mention. Would be on there but let’s also say you have gotta be 30 to make it. Just not around long enough to be on mtn if you’re not with team on ice at least a decade. Yeah, a decade on ice with the Avs is a good requirement I think. Nate makes it now. Cale when he’s 31…

As good as Makar is, I have never seen Makar take over a game the way MacKinnon has (especially this year). But the argument shouldn't be Makar or MacKinnon, it's Forsberg or Makar/MacKinnon. To me it's Sakic, Roy, MacKinnon, Makar. Plus MacKinnon will probably never skate for another team. Can't say that about Forsberg. Hope we don't say it about Makar.
i hate the ot loser point so many teams hang around in the standings because of it , if they wanna keep it then a regulation win should be 3 points ,nhl loves its 3 points so much well award it to the winning team in regulation ffs . i could go and look at the standings right now and i bet at least 4 teams would be out of a playoff spot if not for those 1 point games
