Good for him to be able to play more meaningful games
He’s a lock to anchor the 2nd pair starting next year

Best of two worlds really, he got the tight games and push in Detroit and now playoffs in GR.
Time for the grand rapids griffins to win the Calder cup.
His last stint in GR for sure, hard to see how he doesn’t make next years opening night roster
Honestly, he’s an NHL player. He doesn’t need any experience in a developmental league. He just needs to get better at facing top talent.
I think the organization would be better served with giving him a rest, not risking injury and telling him to find a nice house in Detroit.
