I still have one problem with the Jets and I fear for them until the problem is removed and that’s Neal Pionk. His terrible play has cost jets games this year and cost them leads in games. He is a bad weakness that I think other teams are starting to notice they can exploit. You’re defence is only as strong as your worst defender. I think Miller should be in his spot.

If you told me last May that we'd genuinely have a good shot at beating the Colorado Avalanche in the playoffs, I would've burst out laughing and told you to wake tf up. But here we are. GO JETS GO!!!!

Jets look great with excellent goal tending and defense
The Avalanche can score a lot of goals if given enough powerplays but their goal tending is subpar at best
So unless goal tending gets much better for the Avalanche

I was there yesterday at the game. It was pretty awesome, except for that pionk give away, the other two goals were tip in or from far out, I like my Josh Morrissey bubblehead. I just wish it looked more like him lol

Reason could trade Perfetti is he hasn't performed great center and been demoted off top6.
If we arnt able resign/sign Monahan,Toffoli,Dillon,Demelo,Brossoit we will have glaring holes. Being a hard destination get players if unable attract anyone.
Heinola,Lambert,Chibrikov,Lucius could push for NHL spots preseason.
Mcgroarty is going back NCAA and Barlow will be 19 most likely on U20Canada.
The backup goalie is a issue Brossoit has played and earned a starter job somewhere. Milic/Divincentiis not sure are ready. We don't want another big save Dave or shaking goalie.
It feels like it could happen. Boy would that be massive for Winnipeg if the Jets go all the way to the final and even bigger if they win it. GO JETS GO!
You nailed it with the "perseverance theme', it really has been quite a season in that regard right down to the end where they turned a 6 game losing skid into a 7 game winning streak to secure home ice against the Avs. What a statement. You can never count these guys out.

Big credit to the GMs this year. Doubling down on getting our team competitive with signing Scheifele and Hellebuyck makes the future very bright.
This Jets 2.0 looks the best it has since 2017-2018. We're honing on a really great team here. Even if we don't get far in this playoff stretch, some fine tuning to our bottom forwards and defensemen, and we have one of the best teams in the league in the upcoming years.
If there will ever be a time for Winnipeg to bring home the cup, these next 8 years with Hellebuyck indicate 8 serious chances at cup contention. The time in now for the Winnipeg Jets. GoJetsGo.

I want this team to go all the way, but i don't think this team is as good as the 2017-18 squad that made the conference finals. I hope i'm wrong, but I think we skate past the Avs in 5, but lose to the Stars in 7. This team is riding the wave right now, let's see how far they'll go! GO JETS GO!
