This is 100% to keep Delia the fuck away from the moose net in the playoffs. He will be a shooter tutor in practice for the jets so Helle can focus on whatever he wants to or needs to.
The jets will play with 6 skaters and an empty net before they put Delia in a live NHL playoff game.

Maybe they filed the paperwork to return him to the moose and then realized they wanted him around for practices before the playoffs but used all of our post-deadline callups yesterday?
Edit: trying to read and understand the rules around regular callups and emergency callups… Seems like he was eligible to stay around so it seems weird that he was returned to the Moose for an hour.
