il serait très ironique que les Canucks mettent fin à la disette de la Coupe canadienne avec seulement 5 joueurs canadiens dans leur alignement

it shows 4 players, but the 5th one is tyler myers who is listed as american (born in texas, but raised in canada and plays for them internationally)

They have clones of Elias Petterson. Next they’ll clone T-Rex’s. Boys, we’re near the end times.

  3. shutmethefuckup

Are the Canucks the *least* Canadian team in the league?

  4. More_Advertising_383

It would be even more ironic if they didn’t make it out of the first round

  5. The_Bard_of_Vanier

Dozens of American teams have won cups in the last 20 years with Canadian player majorities. If that’s not ironic, why should this be?

  6. AccomplishedAd4995

and three out of the four canadians are scratches 😭 so realistically they only have one canadian playing every game

  7. GeorgeOrwells1985

Well ya the candian cup drought is nonsense anyways

  8. Sonicboom343

It’s like raaaaaiiiiiiinnnnnnn on your wedding day

  9. HardOyler

Almost like rosters are made up of international players and not just players from the country the team is based in and the whole cup drought thing doesn’t matter no matter how hard the Canadian networks are marketing it.

The anti-canadian team to offset the balance of all the American teams winning with Canadian players

  11. Dull-Objective3967

Why, is it ironic when American teams win with Canadian players, coaches or GMs?

  12. WanderinGreen

Who cares, hockey transcends borders. They will be honourary Canadians for life if they bring it home

  13. skiitour

All the other canadian players are on current cup winning teams. How else would they win?

  14. ILSmokeItAll

Not just 5 Canadians, but ones that are of virtually zero consequence.

  15. JKrow75

God dammit. Does that mean I have to root for them now? Son of a biscuit I think it does

  16. ILSmokeItAll

Don’t think the Canucks have enough Elias Pettersson on the team.

  17. Suspicious-Dog2876

There’s only been a handful of cup winners in history that didn’t have majority Canadians so statistically they’re fucked

  18. SINY10306

54 years…..doubt Canucks fans will complain

  19. Mooweetye

What’s with Swedish bros and going to Vancouver?

First it was Daniel and Henrik Sedin and now these two?

  20. toxicvegeta08

Toronto and edmonton are mainly Canadian rosters.

Winnipeg and vc are mainly foreign.

  21. FluidG11

I mean if it’s ironic then that also says something about every American team who wins with a bunch of Canadians on it

  22. DrewLockIsTheAnswer1

Canucks never have good Canadians. Huge reason why they’ve never won anything.

  23. Two identical Swedish superstars on the Canucks? Deja vu!

  24. HockeyNightinJersey

Some are saying the canucks are America’s team

  25. New2kel

You’ve won 1 game. Dont get ahead of yourself🤣

  26. LittleLionMan82

So has it been ironic then that US teams have been winning it for the past 30 years without majority US rosters?
