Dang. Feel bad for the Kings having to play Edmonton first round again.

Shit i don’t think anyone truly does in the league he’s mcjesus for a reason

  3. Cleets11

Best team in the league just hopes to slow him down. No one can stop him.

4-2 now. Should be 4-3 really.

  5. spagboltoast

They just try to injure players instead

  6. Vivid_Wolverine_4718

    Thanks for everything

    Oilers are powerplay merchants.

  8. imaybeacatIRl

They really don’t… 5 assists for McDavid at this point.

  9. Cachmaninoff

They’re just standing there, in their defensive zone.

More like no answer for the edmonton powerplay, we just stand around and never even try to pressure anyone. Same thing that burned us last year

Guy kites the d around like puppets

not just Mcdavid, their whole top line was dominating. 5 assists McDavid, a goal from Henrique, and a Hatty from Hyman

Are you telling me there 1-3- style isn’t gonna work. Lol

Dude was on fire again tonight! And that Draisaitl goal was great👌

  16. AlexCora

McDavid is like « wait… I can win even MOAR if I just feed Hyman the puck?! »

  17. schmarkty

If Danault and Kopitar can’t stop him then everyone else doesn’t stand a chance.

Unless you count « Fuck. » as an answer.

1-3-1 makes sense when the NHL expands from 21 teams to 32 and has a salary cap. An economist will say the efficient market hypothesis (EMH) means 1-3-1 works most time.

The Oilers are in violation of EMH, with McDavid, Hyman, and Draisaitl all being paid below market salaries. That is not sustainable.

Kings should stick with their system.

(Insert team here) has no answer for McDavid.

Not to take anything away from McDavid’s magic, but Hyman is very skilled at losing the defenseman and getting to a scoring position. On this goal, he drifts back to disappear from #33’s line of sight, and then comes back into an open spot.

Of course, just about anywhere is a scoring position if 97 is passing to you.

After watching the game last night there’s players in the league that are unbelievable. Sometimes I watch Panarin because I’m a Rangers fan and think “this guys so good, the Rangers are lucky to have him” I don’t watch much Oilers games but McDavid is in a League of his own, there really isn’t a debate.
McKinnon has that look where you can see he’s a step above the other players but McDavids not a step, he’s at the top of the stairs. Truly a special talent.

  23. ThrustNeckpunch33

Canucks held him to 3 points in 3 games. Kept him scoreless in one.

That is about as good as it gets with this kid. Lol

  24. Boring_Equipment_946

    I don’t think anyone does
