I liked the talk of accountability and how he’d like us to play fast. I do think we can get to that next level with him but these past 13 years have been a real drain. I have hope but not certainty. The rug has been swept from under me in many ways so I feel I’ll never truly think we’re for real until the team has a playoff spot pretty much locked up.

If he instills half the heart and grit he played with into this talent loaded team , they will be in the playoffs next year. Look for him to bring in a Rempe/John Scott (remember him?) style fourth liner and another heavy D-man to balance out the talent with grit and also to be there for response when things get out of hand – Can't Wait!

It was Darcy’s fault he never restocked the cupboard and butchered the Drury/Briere situation… Ruff was the fall guy all along. Welcome home.
Not gunna lie, seeing Ruff makes me emotional. And I've felt numb about this team for 10 years.. so at least that's something
