2 more games like that and they will have all summer away from the game

I’m trying to just accept that the team isn’t the best anymore and that that’s the natural course for winning teams. I don’t want to become so frustrated by their current level that I forget to appreciate all the great years we’ve had.

Just win or don’t whatever. Appears right now anyways this years version of the team isn’t it at all. Barely feels like they’re even playing a playoff game. They can get away for a whole summer (again) if they want but hopefully JBB punts a few of them off this team and can retool it

I trust Coop implicitly, but the line up changes are bizarre.

Weird to say it, but we also need an antagonizer to get in their heads and ruffle some feathers (fur?) and Jeannot filled that role somewhat.

It’s half veterans, half kids. We were a wild card, after all. Let’s see it through with optimism.

  5. Kuch needs to get away from playing regular season fancy hockey and shoot the puck.

Both games were close, 1 goal games. That’s a puck bounce going your way and you win instead of lose. That being said, we haven’t seen the team play all that well overall, other than Vasy. They can absolutely turn this series around at home.

Hopefully getting away to a place where they left their intensity. It feels like most teams are playing at 11 and we are stuck on 9.

  8. While I absolutely believe we can do this, our defense simply has to be better. Heddy, Dumba, and to a lesser extent Raddysh are constantly trying to cover for their out-of-position partners, and the young Dmen are ignoring coverage and trying to help Vasy play goal. By the time we get the puck out, it’s time for a line change, so no shots, no pressure. Lather… rinse… repeat. Dmen have to find another gear, and I believe they will.
