  1. I agree with THG about David Quinn. Quinn was not the problem. It seemed to me he kept the team's attitude up in dire circumstances. The team generally played hard until the last couple of games. As others have commented, the team was stripped down piece by piece until there was not much left. Greer said he was disappointed in the development of the young players under Quinn. WTF! A ton of new guys joining the roster at the beginning of the year, injuries and then a revolving door at the trade deadline. The young players didn't know who their line mates might be on a given night. Ecklund made a lot progress this year and Bordeleau seemed to hang in there once he was called up. I am not sure how Quinn could have done much better with the team his boss kept blowing up. What great coach is Greer going to attract to San Jose now that we have reached (I hope) rock bottom? There are at least a couple of more years before the Sharks can be competitive. Why not keep Quinn for at least one more year? It is all on Greer now.

  2. The Sharks should take every other team's bad expiring contracts next year. We all know they'll be slumbering at the bottom of the NHL ocean again

  3. I’m alright with Cooley, with all the troubles in front of the net I’m not gonna give any of the sharks’ goaltenders too much shit for their performance this past season

  4. Is San Jose a large enough market to be gifted the #1 pick, or will Gary give another one to Chicago?

  5. The Ducks aren’t so great right now, but at least they won a Cup. It’s disappointing that the Sharks only made one Finals appearance and have been slowly sliding since. Imho it got even worse when Pavelski left.

  6. Trading Hertl i can understand but trading him in the division is crazy but trading him to Vegas of all teams i mean if you're going to trade him trade him to the east i mean send him to Carolina or if you wanted to keep him in the west trade him to like winnipeg especially with the amount of time left on the deal to me trading him to Vegas was just nuts

  7. Quinn had to go. There should be an influx of young talent next year and an overhaul on the defensive side of things. Hopefully Smith signs his pro contract and the Sharks land Celebrini. It could be much more enjoyable next year…27 wins!

  8. Chicago will draft first, so says the commish. They bring in a lot of money to the league after all. Columbus isn’t going to win lottery, anytime soon, like ever.

Trade Logan and see if anyone will bite on Vlasic.

  9. 2024 was a year for fishies, 2025 will be the year for SHARKS BAYBEE‼️ 2025 Stanley cup prediction: sjs in 4 over NJ

  10. The barracuda are a disaster as well but the AHL affiliate has a ton of talent on it that could have exposed to NHL play this year……unfortunatley the sharks took advantage of this only on rare occasions.

  11. Grier needs to ice another roster that is built to lose. It’s going to take longer than this, time to go for Hagens next year!

  12. 5years without playoffs and they just tore it down more wow. As a sens fan it’s been 7 years for them and I’m Frustrated about no playoffs I’d imagine it’s going to be like 10-12 years before San Jose gets back into playoffs. They are forsure bottom 3 in the league again next season
