The Sens arena will be downtown…at Lebreton Flats. The Flats are downtown, and Mayor Sutcliffe has not offered even a single other option, other than “someplace else”.
There are no other options if they want to keep the arena within 5km of the downtown core.

Bob Cole was to the NHL what Vin Scully was to the MLB. Cole, Jim Hughson, and Paul Romanuk for years were the voices of Hockey Night in Canada on many Saturdays and during the playoffs.

RIP Bob Cole. He and Harry Neale were not only one of the best play-by-play combos in hockey history, but in the history of televised sports in general – very few, if any could match them.
Also, his call of Joe Sakic's goal at the end of the Gold-Medal game at the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympics is one of the iconic sports calls of all time.

Since 2013, the Canadian players on Boston have really been able to eat the leafs alive and I think they play harder against them just because of all the attention leafs have had forever in the great white north
