  1. Av’s fan but no hate for the Jets. Thought when Georgiev let that muffin in, that this was headed to a dark place for us.

  2. The Jets took several penalties in the first and second period that weren’t called. It goes both ways. I’m glad they’re letting them play and not turning this into the special teams series.

  3. So im biased as an Avs fan, but the ref excuses are a bit much. A lot of missed calls both ways in each of these games. Playing in Denver at the mile high arena, players aren't used to it unless you are an Av. A lot of those penalties could be sucking wind in the third, it happens to almost every team. Compare the first and third, the Jets were the better team in the first arguably, I almost turned off the game after the second goal when the Jets took the lead in the second period. It felt like they were just the better team. The legs were just gone then.

  4. Dillion wouldn’t have gotten hurt had he just skated to the locker after the game was over. He decided to act tough after the game was decided and try to be a thug. Act like a 💩🤡, deal with the consequences 🤷🏻‍♂️

  5. Jets didn’t play completely horrible till the 3rd. Then the rails came off the train. Can’t keep giving them 40 shots a night. Jets need to grind the front of the net, and get some “garbage” goals.

  6. They weren't calling both ways, on your 1 pp goal there was a clear holding the stick 10 seconds before the goal causing the forward to be out of position in the shot…

  7. Jets can’t play a solid 60 min game. Avs are well over 30% on the PP. jets gotta stay out of the penalty box.

  8. Last year in the Playoffs the AVS went out in the first round because only the 1st line was scoring. Now it's flipped. 17 goals in the first 3 games and the top line only has 4 of those goals. 2nd and 3rd lines are beating the Jets. Georgi only has to make a couple of saves and there is the game.

  9. Hellebucyk lets in 17goals in 3 games and its the Jets fault as a team. If Samsonov lets in one bad goal, then everything is his fault..the difference in the coverage is hilarious…its a funny little hockey world…something wrong if you are talking about the"bad side of Georgiev" in a game he won 6-2 and"Hellebucyk standing on his head"??? Yeah – he stood on his head except for the 5 goals this game, the 5 the game before, and the 6 before that..aside from that – he has been PERFECT… stood on his head every moment aside from those 17 goals..Sweet Jesus..this is the most overrated player in the NHL.

  10. I agree the Avs were better than the Jets. Jets did not deserve much better fate in the game. Penalties are not solely responsible for their effort, but they can cause momentum swings and can be demoralizing when the calls are inconsistent. Jets lost their composure, that cannot happen if they want to get back on track! GO JETS GO!!

  11. Great recap guys… I’m just sorry I didn’t catch this edition earlier in the day as it certainly provides some interesting insights into Game 3. It’s always tough in the second half of the game for a sea-level team playing in Denver. Well done WST

  12. "If the Jets are gonna lose, let them lose in a fair fashion". Good Lord. Seriously? The Jets are getting the exact games and the exact matchups they wanted and are getting outplayed by a deeper, faster team . Capt. Vezina is getting outplayed by AG. The Jets system is designed to allow Hellebuyck to stop pucks for 60 minutes. He's supposed to be the X factor, right? And he's not good enough. I hope Dillon is OK, but his injury was 100% avoidable. That's on him for thinking it's 1975 and "messages" need to be sent after getting your ass kicked.

Good pod. Just enough with the penalty talk – you sound like Oiler fans . . .

  13. Good luck trying to get Winnipeggers to buy season tickets if this team’s M.O. is “we’re a great regular season team that’s exciting to watch, but when it came to the playoffs, our world class goalie Connor Hellebuyck couldn’t get the job done repeatedly”.

  14. The penalty talk is relevant Jets 2nd goal was directly off a holding the stick. It's a two way street.

  15. Trust me we're nervous for Sundays game here because our avalanche typically SUCK at day games for sure!

  16. Brenden Dillon was acting a fool when the game was over, and he got hurt. It's sad that any player gets hurt, but it was totally unnecessary for him to create all that chaos.

And you two spent the entire video complaining about the refs, then said you didn't want to blame the officiating.

Fellas, you guys should be Leafs fans with that sort of analysis.

  17. Let’s be real. The league/refs called this game. The calls are super tilted towards the avs and that’s there real advantage on us. If they called a proper game this game goes either way. I don’t think any real jets fans are mad about our calls. It’s how biased they have been towards the avs which is giving them momentum and free goals

  18. The jets are not getting in on the forcheck enough. It’s tough when you have 3 plodders monny toff and vilardi struggle with the speed. Ehlers has been totally invisible. The pk (whether you like the calls or not) is way way way too passive and is absolutely killing them. If your motto all year was to be aggressive at both ends of the ice then you better do it. All this talk about this team being different and how close they are had to be proven otherwise it’s just cheap talk. It’s time for the stars to rise to the occasion or changes have to be made in the offseason

  19. As an Avs fan I am completely biased, but that being said I see the main issues for the Jets (so far) as being 1. their 1C cannot be outplayed by the Avs 2C as consistently as he has been, 2. the Lowry line "shutting down" MacK cannot be him getting 2 points a game, & 3. the Avs scoring from their blueline is unlike any other team & the Jets cannot match that without Bucky playing a hell of a lot better.
