Gotta love sports fans who think penalties shouldn't be called late in a game when they lose. They'd be ecstatic if they won in the same manner. Total 🤡🏆.
Let me guess, 6 seconds into the vid, this clown gonna cry about the refs, even though they were heavy in the bag for the leafs and gonna not talk about that side of it its just gonna be “Uuuuuurrrrrrr durrrrrrr the refs was so bad this game urrrrrrrrr”
And they let go the Domi interference on Swayman. Clear penalty that Boston fans would not be crying about if they lost. Bad calls and non calls on both sides. You as a fan cannot complain when you go O-5 on the PP.

The Leafs should've traded Marner a few years ago. The return would've nabbed at the least either a true #1 goalie or a top pair D-man and a slew of mid 6ers and/or draft picks. Not to mention the cap relief that would provide. Just my opinion. 👍👍

I am a Bruins fan and it has been a very good series so far but guys if it does do 7 games you know the B's are winning! Marchand is in the heads of the leafs players..sorry guys but you need a real goaltender and 2 real defensemen!…..Matthews is a stud….Marner stinks…Samsonov is soft …Bruins can act !

The LEAFS have only scored more than 2 goals 1 time in the last 10 play off games that means who ever is playing nets can only allow 1 or less goals for the Leafs to have a chance to win that is an IMPOSSIBLE task and can not expect any goalie in the NHL to do it .

The johnny t penalty happened because McAvoy kept moving his feet. You can’t hold on to someone’s jersey from behind while a team is about to break out. McAvoy had possession of the puck, kept his feet moving. That’s a penalty any day of the week. Toronto had their 5 power plays – 4 in a row btw – you can’t buy those opportunities most nights in the playoffs. Leafs were gifted this game on a silver platter, couldn’t capitalize
Over the years, I've heard the following people blamed for the Leafs' woes: Shanahan, Babcock, Dubas, Keefe, Holl, Campbell, Samsanov, refs (for conspiring), even the fans (for not cheering loud enough). Here's what I've been telling you fools for 7 years: IT'S THE DAMN CORE. YES, YOUR BELOVED CORE. THEY AREN'T GOOD ENOUGH.

Okay, let me explain to you how this works. Toronto is a full offense loaded team, they really only have 2 lines and the defense is lacking. The goaltending really is average and at times it's great and other times it's not so great. Boston is a team built on chemistry and tactics, they have great scoring and they also have great defense.. oh and the goaltending, ya again, exceptional. You can be upset about being down 2-1 all you want but the truth is, this should be expected. This iteration of the Leafs is only ever expected to make the playoffs, the fact that they beat the Lightning last year was a surprise. It's time to be a realist as a Leaf fan and accept that previous GM did not build this team for a cup run in the NHL. He built this team on scoring, ridiculously believing that if you outscore your opponents, you can win. Here's the issue.. NHL goaltending is miles above CHL and AHL. That and when you are dealing with the top teams in the business, you are dealing with millions of dollars and so owners and GM's and coaches of NHL teams throw it all out there. If your philosophy is only about scoring, you will lose. It's that simple. This version of the Leafs is actually far more depressing than the Kessel era. At least in the Kessel era, I enjoyed the playoffs. With these guys, I literally expect to lose and as each year passes, each off season I am hoping for some shocking move that changes the culture of this team. I was hoping when Treliving took over it would happen immediately but I guess I still have to wait a bit for that.

Tbf the Refs were Horrendus for both sides IMO. Both Teams got away with Multiple calls. But What killled the leafs in this game is Their Atrocious Power play that's where Boston took control of the game
