  1. Crazy how leafs fans blame the refs. I was watching steve dangle and at the end he’s complaining about marchand. Refs were horrible on both ends as per usual. Toronto was gifted two pps from phantom slashes which happen on every play. Start blaming your special teams and your top forwards who are getting outplayed by guys like morgan geekie, jake debrusk and even john beecher who are getting paid significantly less

  2. The fan base in Toronto has always excused failure and continues to fill the pockets of the ownership of this team.
Until that changes, the Leafs will continue to be the biggest failure in professional sports.

  3. I told you'll from the beginning. The leafs are regular season team. That's all…The real warrior showcase their hockey in playoffs…
They warrior play to win..No babysitting…

  4. I would have been done with this team after losing the first round a few years ago to Montreal when the leaves were up 3-1…that will cut like a knife for leaves fans for decades to come. Never let the leaves fans gorget that round 🤣🤣

  5. Looks like the leafs will be eliminated first. They would of been better to come last atleast get a decent pick in the draft, but the leafs management will draft another loser.

  6. It appears the Maple Laffs are back in gear. Should be done in 5. Aww, the Toronto Sports Network (sorry, that should be TSN!) won't have a home team to cheer for!

  7. It's not all bad. By the next off-season, JTs contract will off the books. Think what 11 million could do to help the team. The problem is that Kyle rushed the job. He didn't build a winner the right way. He thought that they were so close and traded away almost every first round pick when he was GM. You have to hit at the draft, and Kyle didn't. Everything that's good about the Leafs was already in place when he took over. Instead of hiring an experienced GM, the Leafs hired Kyle. They were thinking outside the box. Just look at the d core and the lack of depth. Look at who the goaltender is and how they got him. A throw away from another team. The team is a bunch of players shoe stringed together with what's left of cap after the big 5 take their share. It's not good enough. There are just too many holes in the lineup. To blame the stars is faulty logic. They're just a couple of players. It's a team sport. This isn't basketball where you just need a few stars to win. You need a whole team. You need some guys on their ELCs who are decent players. You need a third line. You need more than one decent defender. Look at the players the Leafs have on the back end. It's an insult to the league to think that this is a winner. On top of all that bs you have a team who plays run and gun hockey. It works out great in the regular season. The players love it. They get big contracts with the bloated stats, but when the playoffs start, this type of game doesn't work. The star players better take a look at the 2018 Washington. They worked hard to play structured hockey. It took them a few years to figure it out, and when they did that style of play got them a cup.

  8. The bruins are very consistent as for the leafs!?🤔 I guess you already know that by now!😏 GO BRUINS Woooooo!!!😆

  9. It's a shame that Mathews and his peasants won't realize until long after they've retired that caring more about being a celebrity than a winner was not worth it.

  10. LEAF ROSTERS ALREADY BLOWN UP AFTER LAST NIGHT PATHETIC EFFORT!!! WHICH IS NONE LIKE ALWAYS
    BLOW UP THE TEAM NOW
SERIES FINISHED LIKE LAST 8 YEARS !!! FIRE THEM ALL!!! NOW!!!

  11. Swayman is good, but the Leafs are not really making it hard for him. I mean, the Marner line had like 2 shifts with screen in front of Swayman and 1 of them resulted in a goal. The rest – nothing, Swayman could see the shots coming from a mile away. Compare it with the Bruins and their effort to make Leafs goalie's a living hell. Even their star-players go to the dirty areas where it hurts. They don't care and they get the job done. Well played by the Bruins.
