Wow, Vegas defense was like a Swiss cheese. So much holes and opportunities for Stars. Without great goaltending three periods would have been more than enough to prove a winner in this game. It was a terrific job from Thompson.

Man I was at the game and Vegas looked horrible. No forecheck, no presence in the middle on offense. Only thing that saved it from being a blowout is the fact that we were playing Dallas, and Logan Thomas.

Just goes to show you how good goal tending can beat an all-out effort by your offense. Stars got lucky but need to crack the Vegas goal tending and then run the scores up. I'm glad it's 2-1 now, but I'm still not comfortable with their gameplay.

The first and half the second the shot difference was like 16? Then after the short handed goal and goal 2 for Vegas Dallas felt flat but damn Vegas didn’t play today like they did in 1 and 2
Well Dallas is the best road team in the NHL in the regular season this year so can’t be to surprised they won on the road game 4 will be very interesting if Dallas would have just grabbed one on their ice
But who else absolutely hates the way they do playoffs these days. What is the point of having a top season like Dallas at number 1 seed 2 overall behind the rangers just to what possibly if they win and the jets win play them for round 2 ? The jets are #3 seed
They should go back to by doing good in the regular season after round 1 reseed and the higher seed plays the lowest seed making the regular season mean something. Hate the stupid wildcard bs need the old way back. And fix the stupid injury reserve cap thing
